What kind of power cable and transformer should I need?
e.g Suppose there is a set of 4 spotlights (each 3W) and 2 path lights (each 4.5W) that need to be installed in the garden, How do you choose the cable and the transformer?
1. Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*3W+2*4.5W=21W
2. The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3. The transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
Note:
- Bulb： In the 1-pack item we include a standard 2700K-5W bulb. Other brass spotlight series use a GU5.3 bi-pin base, you must purchase a matching MR16 bulb separately. For MR16 bulbs, it is important that you choose a pointed bi-pin rather than a flat bi-pin, as flat bi-pins may prevent the bulb from being installed and cause damage to the fixture.
- If you need to mount it on a tree trunk or outdoor wall, purchase a mounting plate, 1/2 NPT thread size, and search keywords: Mounting Plate for Landscape Spotlight.
- Price： If you buy multiple packs, you will get more discount than single pack.
- Projection： Beam angle is not limited by the product, you can choose different angles of the bulb according to different use scenarios.
- Working： The working voltage is 9~17V, so the spotlight usually needs to be connected to a 12V transformer to work properly.

These are great lights. I temporarily had the solar ones for the mean time and they’re just trash compared to these. With these you get a solid brass fixture, nice large ABS stake, a double seal O-ring design to prevent water ingress into the MR16 socket and bulb. Love that you can chance the bulb out as needed and that it’s not a built in LED which would require complete fixture replacement. Super easy to assemble as well. You get what you pay for with these. In the pictures just the two Queen palms in the ground have these spot lights. The Mediterranean fan pal in the large wood pot to the right is a solar light. The solar light actually doesn’t even look as bright in person as it comes off in the picture. I also purchased Gardencoins other flower bed fixtures and they are fantastic as well. Now to finish my flower bed!

Great quality and the cover removes easily to install bulb. The gaskets around the top are good and tight to seal out water. Works great!

We use these in our very large yard in the Palm Springs area where they are great to light up our beautiful palm trees. My husband easily installs them and we usually try to keep a couple extras on hand for when one of fails. It is brutal out here in our desert heat plus the sprinklers can make things corrode over time and they need replacing.

Tiny. I was expecting a much larger light. I wish Amazon would require companies to put something like a tennis ball in their photos so the buyers could get a quick understanding of the size of the object. It seems like everything I order is about half the size I thought it would be. I’m sure the actual size was mentioned somewhere, but I usually don’t take time to read the specs, get my tape measure out, and try to visualize the product based on its measurements. I haven’t put the product in yet so it may work just fine. I’ll give it 4 stars assuming that even though it’s small, it will work.

These are pricey compared to others, but they are well worth it. NOTE: Bulbs and electrical connectors are not included!!!

Really liked the outcome of how the lights worked, teamed them with lionite lights for flower bed and sitting area, adjusted the lights to aim more at trees not at house, should have installed them a little closer to the trees, will maybee do that in future, or if wife keeps insisting. Great value and quality lighting.

Successfully replaced a 24 year old 120v AC driven outdoor lights by converting to 12v DC for these well made metal spots. In order to fit into my existing 2” conduit had to cut fins off spikes bases to fit wires into 2” tubes.

These lights do a great job accenting my home features. The bulbs in these can also be changed out if another lighting color is desired or if the LED bulb burns out u can change bulb instead of replacing entire light (and a lot of the lights u can’t just buy one). The lights and components are well made and waterproof. I would recommend purchasing quality connectors and a good transformer that will last. I have a 300w running my lighting system.

Very well made, sturdy, and has a beautiful finish. I bought this single light to replace an existing light that had an LED circuit board type bulb, which I am unable to find. These have bulbs, which are very easy to replace and avoids the cost of replacing the entire fixture in the future. Another great thing is the light mounts on a standard one inch post, which I already had with the previous light. This made installation even faster ( 5 minutes). This is a great product!

Have these in our front yard and they look professional and work well. They are small in size as landscape lights go, but they put out plenty of light. They are a heavy weight, so I think they will be durable and tolerate the yard maintenance team that comes and kicks things around. We had a little issue buying the right bulbs (they don't come with them), but got them working and none of the units were dead on arrival. Good value for the price.
