What kind of power cable and transformer should I need?
e.g Suppose there is a set of 4 spotlights (each 3W) and 2 path lights (each 4.5W) that need to be installed in the garden, How do you choose the cable and the transformer?
1. Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*3W+2*4.5W=21W
2. The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3. The transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
Note:
- Bulb： In the 1-pack item we include a standard 2700K-5W bulb. Other brass spotlight series use a GU5.3 bi-pin base, you must purchase a matching MR16 bulb separately. For MR16 bulbs, it is important that you choose a pointed bi-pin rather than a flat bi-pin, as flat bi-pins may prevent the bulb from being installed and cause damage to the fixture.
- If you need to mount it on a tree trunk or outdoor wall, purchase a mounting plate, 1/2 NPT thread size, and search keywords: Mounting Plate for Landscape Spotlight.
- Price： If you buy multiple packs, you will get more discount than single pack.
- Projection： Beam angle is not limited by the product, you can choose different angles of the bulb according to different use scenarios.
- Working： The working voltage is 9~17V, so the spotlight usually needs to be connected to a 12V transformer to work properly.

I purchased these lights twice. The first six that arrived were perfect. No blemishes and they opened like silk to install the LED light. The second six that arrived have some blemishes, see photo, and opening them to install the light bulb made opening a jar of pickles seem like child play. I was tempted to return them at first but refused to be defeated and just working them till they opened. I did apply a silicon grease to the seals before putting the lens back on. Other than the fight with the second set, the lights are great.

We use these in our very large yard in the Palm Springs area where they are great to light up our beautiful palm trees. My husband easily installs them and we usually try to keep a couple extras on hand for when one of fails. It is brutal out here in our desert heat plus the sprinklers can make things corrode over time and they need replacing.

These lights are the best ones I found and I researched it very well these costs a little more than other options but these are solid sturdy and look really nice during the day and emit just the right amount of light well worth the money but a bit pricey

Be aware this lights don’t come with the light bulb only on single package, I got the 4 pack, compared to others what I like is if you need to replace the light in the future you just need to make a quick twist and pull, they also have light bulb brackets for support, easy to adjust

Really pleased with the quality of these lights, I bought and installed two. The bulb was a little dicey to install into its’ socket. Power of illumination is as expected, plenty for my purpose of illuminating my masonry address plaque.

No connectors, no bulbs, disappointing, considering the price point and how inexpensive those additional items would be.

Excellent construction great insulation from weather. The only caveat I would make sure that you pushed the bulb firmly into the mounting to make sure it’s connected. The rest was easy disconnected two wires and you’re done.

These really upgraded the outside look to our house at night. We love these. The man who installed them said they were very easy to install. We could have done it ourselves but required some electrical work that I wasn’t comfortable with since we had never had outside lighting before. They are great spotlights for our smaller trees in the front as well. Great buy. Thinking of putting them in the back of our house as well.

Just installed these in my landscaping and very happy with the quality and ease of installation. Heads up…these don’t come with the bulbs! Still a good deal compared to the cost of my local professional landscaping supply store. Much better quality than the “name brand” lighting you’ll get at major home improvement stores.

These are even nicer than I thought! Very well and beautifully designed, will find out this Summer how they survive Mohave Desert temps. Appreciate versatility of customization bulb. Getting the cover open to put in/change bulb a bit challenging at first - very tight O-ring seal and twist release deceiving in force needed, but I suspect means no water is going to get in. Of course in Mohave Desert we get about an inch or two a year, but usually all at once. Even plastic stake designed well and sturdy for the heavy light. So far survived our recent 2” rain this weekend.

I installed 3 of the spotlights to highlight the oak tree and its canopy. They were easy to install and did a great job of illuminating the trees. The lights are very solid and well made; they should last a long time. I am so impressed with these lights, I am going to order more for some of the other trees in our yard.
